Role Overview:
The Project Head for our underground (UG) metal mining operation requires a Bachelor’s in Mining Engineering, 10 to 15 years of mechanized hard-rock experience, and a valid First-Class Manager's Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted) for metalliferous mines. Statutory compliance, safety leadership, and deep technical proficiency in high-speed decline development and stoping are mandatory.

What You'll Do
Lead underground mine development and production operations end-to-end
Own production, safety, quality, and cost targets
Drive drilling, blasting, loading, haulage, and development activities
Lead mine planning, resource allocation, and equipment utilization
Ensure DGMS, statutory, and HSE compliance




Own the client relationship with Hindustan Zinc Limited
Lead multidisciplinary engineering and operations teams
Own project profitability, KPIs, budgeting, and productivity
Review MIS, operational reports, and performance dashboards

Who We're Looking For
Currently working as a Mine Manager, Senior Mine Manager, Project Manager, Deputy Project Manager, Mining Head, or Underground Operations Head, with:
15–20 years in Underground Metal Mining, including mechanized UG operations
First Class Mines Manager Certificate (DGMS), Unrestricted — mandatory
B.E./B.Tech in Mining Engineering
Experience at HZL, HCL, Vedanta, or a major underground mining contractor (preferred)
Exposure to contract mining / MDO projects (preferred)
