Position overview:
We are seeking for an enthusiastic, highly driven and motivated Deputy Sourcing Manager to join our dynamic organization. The position is located in Chakan, Pune, India and will be a critical role for our Sourcing function
The Deputy Sourcing Manager is responsible for Managing vendor selection, building supplier relationships, analyzing procurement data, Optimizing procurement processes. Outstanding collaboration with other members of the Sales, quality, and supply chain to achieve the objectives.

Main responsibilities:
Being technically strong and able to make customer understand on the benefit of business Sourcing strategies.
Able to understand a company’s operational needs and requirements
Building relationships with vendors and key suppliers.
Technically review internally recent RFQ complying for Supporting Sales function in the RFQ process as procurement bid lead




Proactively, seeking business optimization and cost savings or new capability and developing data-driven business cases to support their initiatives
Proactively, seeking business optimization and cost savings or new capability and developing data-driven business cases to support their initiatives
Building and leveraging internal business partner relationships to create value-focused strategies that align with goals
Staying current on industry and market trends and best practices. Apply best sourcing practices on RFI/RFQ/ Yearly rebates / Supplier scorecard etc.
Skills & Qualifications
Understanding of fasteners industry and associated manufacturing processes
Ability to interpret engineering drawings / specifications
Able to travel for 15 days a month
