About The Role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented SEO Content Writer to join our dynamic marketing team at The Chopras. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, SEO-optimized content that enhances our online presence and attracts prospective students. Your primary focus will be on developing engaging blog posts, articles, landing pages, and website copy centered around study abroad topics such as university guides, visa procedures, standardized test preparation, scholarships, and more.

You will work closely with our SEO and marketing teams to ensure content aligns with search intent, ranking strategies, and brand voice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of SEO best practices, excellent research skills, and the ability to produce compelling content that resonates with our target audience.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an SEO Content Writer or similar role, preferably within the education or travel industry.




- Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and on-page optimization techniques.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.

Responsibilities

- Research, write, and edit SEO-optimized blog posts, articles, and landing pages around study abroad topics such as university guides, visa processes, test preparation, scholarships, and more.
- Conduct keyword research to identify target phrases and incorporate them effectively into content.
- Apply on-page SEO best practices, including crafting compelling meta titles and descriptions, using appropriate headers, internal linking, and maintaining optimal keyword density.
- Collaborate with the SEO and marketing teams to develop content strategies that align with search intent and ranking objectives.
- Monitor content performance using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs, and refine content based on data insights.
- Create engaging website copy, email newsletters, and social media captions to support marketing campaigns.




- Repurpose long-form content into shorter formats suitable for social media, email campaigns, and other digital channels.
- Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and content marketing best practices.
- Ensure all content is original, well-researched, factually accurate, and free from plagiarism.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts, such as counselors, to verify the accuracy and relevance of content related to study abroad topics.
