What You ll Own:

Architecture Infrastructure

- Design and implement robust, scalable, and high-availability architectures using Apache HTTP Server and Apache Tomcat
- Fine-tune web environments for performance, reliability, and scalability
- Set best practices for server hardening, load balancing, and optimization specific to Apache and Tomcat

Security Compliance
- Manage SSL/TLS certificates, encryption protocols, and secure transmission standards
- Define and enforce secure coding practices in Java-based environments
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and compliance reviews (OWASP, PCI-DSS, GDPR)
- Build architectures with security-first thinking from design to deployment

Collaboration Support
- Partner with development, operations, network, and compliance teams to embed security into every layer of the SDLC
- Lead from the front with technical guidance and mentorship on Apache, Tomcat, and security
- Create clear documentation and deliver training on best practices and incident response procedures

Innovation Continuous Improvement
- Stay current with the latest in web infrastructure, Java frameworks, and security innovations




- Evaluate and integrate tools to continuously enhance performance and defense
- Drive forward-looking initiatives to elevate our infrastructure s security posture

What You Bring:

- Bachelor s or Master s in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in web infrastructure, system architecture, and application security
- Deep hands-on expertise with Apache HTTP Server and Apache Tomcat from deployment to fine-tuning
- Proficient in Java, with a robust grasp of modern Java frameworks
- Strong knowledge of SSL/TLS, HTTP/S protocols, digital certificate management
- Experience with secure coding, OWASP Top Ten, vulnerability scanning, and threat mitigation
- Excellent communicator with the ability to bridge the technical and the practical

- Industry-recognized certifications like CISSP, CEH, CSSLP, or OSCP
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
