About The Role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Content Writer with a focus on SEO to join our dynamic marketing team at The Chopras. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging, and optimized content that resonates with prospective students and educational partners. This role requires a strong understanding of the education sector, especially study abroad topics, and the ability to craft compelling narratives that drive traffic, generate leads, and support our brand positioning.

The Content

Writer will collaborate closely with marketing strategists, SEO specialists, and subject matter experts to develop content that aligns with our business objectives and enhances our online presence.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Communications,



Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. Proven experience in content writing, particularly in SEO-optimized content creation, is essential. Familiarity with the education industry, study abroad processes, and related terminology is highly preferred.

Strong research skills, excellent command of the English language, and the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences are required. Knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs is a plus. The candidate must demonstrate a proactive attitude, creativity, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Research, write, and edit SEO-optimized blog posts, articles, and landing pages around study abroad topics (university guides, visa processes, test prep, scholarships, etc.)
- Conduct keyword research and apply on-page SEO best practices (meta titles, descriptions, headers, internal linking, keyword density)
- Collaborate with the SEO/marketing team to align content with search intent and ranking goals
- Track content performance using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEMrush/Ahrefs,



and iterate based on data
- Write compelling website copy, email newsletters, and social media captions as needed
- Repurpose long-form content into shorter formats for social/email
- Stay updated on Google algorithm changes and evolving SEO best practices
- Ensure all content is plagiarism-free, well-researched, and factually accurate
- Coordinate with subject matter experts (counselors) to ensure content accuracy on study abroad topics
