We are looking for a competent and technically skilled Water Analyst to join our laboratory team.

? PositionWater Analyst / Senior Chemist – Water Testing

? Qualification

- M.Sc./B.Sc. in Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / Environmental Chemistry or relevant discipline.
- Candidates with relevant laboratory testing experience will be preferred.

? Experience
- Experience in water and wastewater analysis in a NABL/ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory preferred.
- Freshers with strong analytical chemistry fundamentals may also be considered for suitable positions.

? Key Technical Responsibilities
- Analysis of drinking water, packaged water, groundwater, surface water and wastewater samples.
- Chemical and instrumental analysis as per applicable IS, APHA, FSSAI and other approved standard methods.
- Handling and operation of laboratory instruments such as UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, AAS/ICP-OES/ICP-MS, Ion Chromatograph, TOC and other relevant instruments, as applicable.
- Testing of parameters such as pH, TDS, conductivity, hardness, alkalinity, chloride, sulphate, nitrate, fluoride, ammonia, COD/BOD and elemental parameters, as per laboratory scope.
- Preparation of reagents,



standards and calibration solutions.
- Proper sample preparation, preservation and traceability.
- Maintaining raw data, worksheets, instrument records, QC records and test reports.
- Performing quality control checks and ensuring validity of analytical results.
- Supporting method verification/validation, measurement of uncertainty, PT/ILC activities and internal quality control.
- Compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017, NABL and FSSAI requirements.
- Maintaining laboratory safety, housekeeping and documentation practices.

- Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry and water chemistry.
- Good understanding of quality control and quality assurance practices.
- Familiarity with NABL documentation and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving ability.
- Ability to independently handle routine water testing and maintain accurate technical records.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
