Role Overview :

As a Tech Lead / Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and scaling the core backend systems that power our insurance processing platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional product and engineering teams to translate complex business requirements into high-performance, resilient microservices. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of claims processing and the reliability of our digital services, ensuring a seamless experience for our insurance partners and end-users in a high-stakes, data-driven setting.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot to support high-volume insurance transaction processing.
- Develop and maintain robust REST APIs to facilitate seamless integration between internal systems and external insurance partners.
- Architect event-driven data pipelines using Kafka to ensure real-time synchronization and processing of claims data.
- Optimize database performance and query efficiency using SQL to maintain high availability for critical business reporting.
- Orchestrate containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure consistent performance across development and production environments.




- Automate deployment pipelines through CI/CD practices to accelerate the delivery of new features and security patches.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance to foster a culture of engineering excellence and clean code practices.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building enterprise-grade applications using Java and the Spring Boot framework with 4 to 8 years of professional experience.
- Proven ability to design and manage microservices architectures that are modular, secure, and highly available.
- Strong proficiency in managing data persistence layers using SQL and optimizing complex database interactions.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies including AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes for managing scalable infrastructure.
- Ability to implement and manage CI/CD workflows to streamline the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality, maintainable code in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working in an on-site capacity in Mumbai, collaborating closely with the local engineering team.
