About the Role

Timbre Media is looking for a Video Producer / Editor with strong storytelling and visual instincts who can turn ideas and raw footage into polished, engaging video.

You’ll work across podcasts, interviews, short-form/social content and new video properties, taking projects from raw footage through to final delivery.

We’re looking for someone who can also help create the visual language, templates and repeatable formats that make our video output distinctive and scalable.

What You’ll Do

- Edit long-form podcast episodes (multicam, remote and in-studio) - sync, cut, colour grade, audio cleanup, and a clean, watchable rhythm.
- Produce short-form clips and social cuts from long-form assets, formatted per platform (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) with burned-in captions.
- Design and build reusable After Effects templates and Premiere/FCP presets- especially intros, lower thirds, transitions, caption styles, end cards - so that recurring shows are delivered consistently and quickly.
- Create the visual identity for current video properties: title treatments, motion packages, thumbnail systems, and a documented style guide the rest of the team can follow.
- Own turnaround on a recurring publishing calendar, working to fixed episode drop dates.
- Manage media: ingest, proxies, naming conventions, project organisation, archive, and version control.
- Collaborate with hosts and producers on feedback rounds
- Occasionally support production: setting up multicam and audio for in-studio / on-location shoots.

What We’re Looking For

- 4-6+ years of professional video editing/production experience.




- A strong portfolio demonstrating editing, storytelling and visual design.
- Experience editing podcasts, interviews or similar conversation-led content.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro OR Final Cut Pro.
- Strong Adobe After Effects skills: motion graphics, template building (essential graphics / MOGRTs), expressions, and clean comps others can pick up.
- A strong eye for pacing, typography, composition and visual storytelling.
- Experience building templates or visual systems for recurring video formats.
- Comfortable delivering high-quality work on tight timelines.
- Comfortable and proficient with using AI tools as part of your creative workflow - whether for design, transcription, ideation, clipping, audio, visuals or speeding up production.
- Able to take ownership of an edit without needing detailed direction at every stage.

Nice to have

- Audio post in Audition, Descript, or iZotope RX.
- DaVinci Resolve for colour; Illustrator/Photoshop or Figma for design assets.
- Thumbnail design and an understanding of what actually makes a viewer click on a video
- YouTube channel experience (retention, hooks, chapters, packaging)
- Camera & lighting fundamentals, and on-set experience
