About WebBirth

WebBirth is a Bangalore-based software and digital marketingcompany working with businesses across multiple markets. We build websites, SaaS products, custom software, e-commerce platforms, and digital growth systems.

We are looking for a Video Editor to join our in-house creative and marketing team. This person will work on content for WebBirth as well as our clients, with a solid focus on short-form video, Reels, social media content, and digital marketing creatives.

What you'll be working on

- Create engaging Instagram Reels, short-form videos and social media content for WebBirth and our clients.
- Edit raw footage, screen recordings, voiceovers, promotional material and other content into polished videos.
- Create videos that communicate software, websites, SaaS products, digital services, campaigns and client offerings in a simple and engaging way.
- Work with the marketing team to turn content ideas and briefs into finished videos.
- Create different versions of content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other digital channels.
- Add captions, subtitles, transitions, motion graphics, sound effects, music and other elements where appropriate.
- Repurpose existing videos and marketing material into multiple short-form pieces.
- Create thumbnails,



basic social media graphics and supporting visual assets when required.
- Follow WebBirth and client brand guidelines consistently.
- Work across multiple client projects and maintain quality while meeting deadlines.
- Review feedback, make revisions and take ownership of the final output.
- Keep up with current short-form content formats, editing styles and social media trends.

What we're looking for

- 1–2 years of relevant professional experience in video editing or digital content creation.
- Strong practical experience creating Reels and short-form social media videos.
- A good understanding of video pacing, hooks, storytelling, typography, composition and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to take raw material or a basic brief and independently turn it into a finished piece of content.
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, CapCut or equivalent tools.
- Basic motion graphics and animation skills.
- Understanding of social media video formats, aspect ratios and platform requirements.
- Good eye for visual quality and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work within deadlines.
- Good communication and ability to work closely with designers, marketers and project teams.
