Role Description The Video Editor (Trainee) will support the end-to-end production of podcast episodes and related visual content for Business and Beyond. This full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad involves organizing raw footage, editing video interviews, adding graphics and motion elements, refining sound and visuals, and preparing final exports for multiple platforms. The trainee will assist with color grading, basic motion graphics, and thumbnail creation, while ensuring consistency with the podcast’s visual identity and brand tone.

Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with the host and content team, following creative briefs, maintaining file and project organization, and meeting publishing timelines. The role is designed for individuals eager to learn, take feedback constructively, and grow into a professional video editor in a fast-paced, content-driven environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Video Production and an understanding of the video workflow from shoot to post-production.
- Candidates should possess practical skills in Video Editing,



including cutting interviews, arranging timelines, and syncing audio and video.
- Candidates should possess basic abilities in Video Color Grading to enhance visual consistency and improve overall image quality.
- Candidates should possess introductory skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, and simple visual elements.
- Candidates should have familiarity with common editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio cleanup tools.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to follow creative direction and deadlines.
- Candidates should have good communication skills and a cooperative mindset, with openness to feedback and continuous learning.
- A degree, diploma, or certification in film, media, communications, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory; a portfolio or sample work will be highly valued.
