Role Description The Video Editor role at swaysocial.in is a full-time, on-site position based in Dindigul. This role involves editing raw footage into polished videos, trimming and arranging clips, adding transitions and effects, and synchronizing audio and visual elements.

The Video

Editor will collaborate closely with the creative team to understand project briefs, apply brand guidelines, and maintain consistent visual quality across all content. Daily tasks include color grading, adding motion graphics or simple graphics where needed, organizing project files, and preparing final exports optimized for various platforms. The role also includes suggesting creative ideas, maintaining timelines,



and ensuring all deliverables meet technical and aesthetic standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and the ability to manage the full lifecycle of a video project from planning to final delivery.
- Candidates should possess advanced Video Editing skills, including cutting, sequencing, audio syncing, and applying transitions in professional editing software.
- Candidates should possess Video Color Grading skills to maintain consistent visual tone, correct exposure, and enhance overall look and feel.
- Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills to create basic animations, titles, overlays, and visual elements that support storytelling.
- Relevant skills such as familiarity with industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) and a robust portfolio demonstrating previous work are highly beneficial.
- Additional qualifications such as strong attention to detail, ability to work on-site in Dindigul, effective time management, collaboration skills, and openness to feedback will be advantageous.
