House of Unblur is a performance marketing agency scaling 200+ D2C brands on Meta and Google Ads. We're hiring a video editor to produce direct-response ad creatives — not brand films, not corporate videos. Your edits go live against real ad spend and are judged on hook rate, hold rate, and CTR.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit UGC, creator, and product footage into short-form ad creatives for Meta and Google
- Produce multiple hook variations from a single body edit for creative testing
- Deliver in all required aspect ratios (9:16, 4:5, 1:1) with correct platform secure zones
- Add subtitles, motion graphics, sound design, and text overlays suited to sound-off viewing
- Work to written creative briefs and turn around revisions same-day
- Maintain file naming and delivery conventions for the media buying team

Required Skills

- Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory), After Effects (preferred), CapCut




- Short-form vertical video editing — Reels, Shorts, performance ad creatives
- Understanding of Meta ad placement specs and safe zones
- Subtitling, sound design, basic colour correction
- High-volume output with consistent quality

Preferred

- Prior experience at a performance marketing agency or D2C brand
- Familiarity with hook-first ad structure and creative testing frameworks
- Basic understanding of ad performance metrics (CTR, hook rate, thumbstop ratio)

Education: Any graduate. Portfolio matters more than degree.
