Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and passionate Video Editor with 0-2 years of experience to join our team in Bangalore. Freshers with a strong portfolio, internship experience, or excellent editing and motion design skills are encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of visual storytelling, motion graphics, pacing, composition, and social media content. Experience or interest in podcast video editing and AI-powered creative tools will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit engaging videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Facebook, advertisements, and promotional campaigns.
- Edit podcast videos, including multi-camera footage, speaker cuts, audio synchronization, captions, graphics, and short-form podcast clips.
- Create motion graphics, animated text, titles, lower thirds, transitions, and other visual elements.
- Transform raw footage into polished, engaging, and high-quality video content.
- Create both short-form and long-form content based on creative briefs and campaign requirements.
- Add subtitles, music, sound effects, visual effects, transitions, and animations where required.
- Perform color correction, audio editing, sound balancing, and video enhancement.
- Repurpose long-form videos and podcasts into engaging Reels, Shorts, teasers, highlights, and social media clips.
- Collaborate with marketing, content, and design teams to develop creative video concepts.
- Ensure all video content follows brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Adapt videos into different formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios based on platform requirements.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing, motion graphics, podcast, and social media trends.
- Explore and use AI-powered tools for video editing, captions, voiceovers, content creation, and workflow enhancement.




- Manage multiple projects efficiently and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.

Requirements

- 0-2 years of experience in video editing.
- Freshers with a strong portfolio/showreel are welcome to apply.
- Proficiency or working knowledge of tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar software.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
- Understanding of podcast video editing, including multi-camera editing, audio synchronization, captions, and social media cutdowns.
- Good understanding of social media video formats, particularly Reels, Shorts, and vertical content.
- Knowledge of transitions, typography, color correction, audio editing, and visual effects.
- Strong sense of storytelling, timing, pacing, and visual composition.
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn new tools and techniques.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with a creative team.
- Positive communication, organization, and time-management skills.

Preferred Skills

- Motion graphics and 2D animation using After Effects or similar tools.
- Podcast and interview video editing experience.
- Experience creating Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, and performance marketing creatives.
- Basic graphic design and typography knowledge.
- Familiarity with Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design tools.
- Familiarity with AI tools for video generation, editing, captions, voiceovers, and creative content production.
- Understanding of current social media trends, editing styles, and content formats.
