Role Description The Video Editor and Thumbnail Expert is a full-time, in office role based in Indore. This role involves editing educational videos, arranging raw footage, adding transitions, and ensuring clear audio and visual quality. The team member will create attention-grabbing video thumbnails, apply consistent branding elements, and collaborate with educators and content creators to align video output with learning objectives.

Daily tasks include color grading, basic motion graphics, optimizing video formats for different platforms, and maintaining organized media libraries.



The role also requires working closely with the design and marketing teams to enhance viewer engagement and click-through rates across Padhle.in’s channels.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including handling raw footage and assembling final outputs.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance overall video quality.
- Ability to create Motion Graphics and basic Graphics for thumbnails, intros, outros, and educational overlays.
- Experience with industry-standard editing and design tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop or equivalent).
- Understanding of YouTube and other digital platforms’ best practices for thumbnails, aspect ratios, and compression.
- Attention to detail, strong visual sense, and ability to work with brand guidelines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators, designers, and marketing professionals.
- Relevant coursework or a degree in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; a strong portfolio of prior work is essential.
