1. Role Purpose The Vice President – Warehousing & Integrated Logistics will be responsible for leading and expanding the company's warehousing and integrated logistics business across locations. The role will oversee warehouse operations, contract logistics, transportation coordination, customer solutions, business development, profitability and operational excellence.

The position will be responsible for developing scalable logistics solutions, improving operational efficiency, maintaining service quality and driving revenue and EBITDA growth.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Business Strategy & Leadership

- Develop and implement the overall strategy for Warehousing and Integrated Logistics business.
- Drive revenue, profitability and market-share growth across regions.
- Identify new business opportunities in 3PL, contract logistics, warehousing and supply chain management.
- Develop long-term business plans, budgets and growth strategies.
- Lead and mentor regional/business heads and senior management teams.
- Establish standardized processes and operating practices across locations.

B. Warehousing Operations

- Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations across all facilities.
- Ensure effective inbound, storage, inventory, picking, packing, dispatch and returns processes.
- Improve warehouse utilization, productivity and manpower efficiency.
- Ensure proper inventory control, stock accuracy and cycle-counting practices.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs including productivity, space utilization, inventory accuracy, turnaround time and order fulfillment.
- Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, customer and company requirements.
- Evaluate opportunities for automation, WMS implementation and technology-driven warehouse management.

C. Integrated Logistics & Supply Chain

- Develop integrated solutions combining warehousing, transportation, distribution and value-added services.
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure seamless movement from warehouse to customer.
- Design end-to-end supply chain solutions based on customer requirements.




- Optimize transportation and distribution costs.
- Improve delivery performance, turnaround time and customer service levels.
- Build scalable solutions for B2B, B2C, retail, e-commerce, manufacturing and other sectors.

D. Business Development & Customer Management

- Lead strategic business development for warehousing and integrated logistics.
- Build relationships with key customers, large corporates and strategic accounts.
- Participate in RFPs, RFQs, tenders and major contract negotiations.
- Develop commercial proposals and solution-based pricing.
- Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
- Ensure strong customer retention and long-term relationships.
- Monitor customer satisfaction, SLA adherence and key account profitability.

E. P&L; & Financial Management

- Own the P&L; for the Warehousing & Integrated Logistics vertical.
- Drive revenue growth and EBITDA/margin improvement.
- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts and business plans.
- Monitor warehouse operating costs, manpower costs, transportation costs and overheads.
- Identify cost-saving and productivity improvement opportunities.
- Review financial performance with senior management and take corrective actions.

F. Process Improvement & Technology

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and logistics operations.
- Implement Lean, Kaizen and other productivity improvement methodologies where appropriate.
- Promote automation, robotics, WMS, TMS, dashboards and data analytics.
- Establish SOPs and standardized operating processes.
- Use technology and analytics to improve visibility, productivity and decision-making.

G. People & Organization Development

- Build a strong leadership team across warehouse and logistics operations.
- Develop organizational structures aligned with business growth.
- Identify training and development requirements.
- Set KRAs and KPIs for senior and operational teams.
- Promote performance-driven culture and accountability.




- Develop succession plans for critical leadership positions.

H. Compliance, Risk & Safety

- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, labour, safety and operational requirements.
- Establish warehouse safety standards and risk-control measures.
- Ensure proper documentation, audits and compliance reporting.
- Minimize operational, inventory, contractual and financial risks.
- Ensure business continuity and contingency planning.

4. Candidate Profile

Education:

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration or related field.
- MBA in Operations / Supply Chain / Logistics preferred.

Experience:

- 15–20+ years of relevant experience in warehousing, 3PL, contract logistics, supply chain or integrated logistics.
- Minimum 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale operations and P&L.;
- Experience managing multiple warehouses/locations and large teams.
- Strong experience in customer acquisition, solution design and commercial negotiations.
