TSDF Site Executive / Environmental Engineer

Hazardous Waste Treatment, Storage & Disposal Facility (TSDF)

Experience

- 2–3 years of experience in hazardous waste management, TSDF operations, hazardous waste landfill, or related environmental operations.
- Freshers can also apply with relevant Environmental/Chemical Engineering qualifications and a strong interest in hazardous waste management.

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Environmental Engineering or *Chemical Engineering
- M.E./M.Tech in Environmental Engineering will be an added advantage.

Job Summary

We are looking for a technically sound and responsible TSDF Site Executive to support the safe and efficient operation of a Hazardous Waste Treatment, Storage & Disposal Facility. The candidate will be involved in hazardous waste receipt, inspection, storage, landfill operations, documentation, environmental compliance, monitoring, and coordination with site teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and monitor day-to-day TSDF and hazardous waste landfill operations.
- Supervise the receipt, identification, segregation, storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous waste.
- Ensure proper waste acceptance procedures and documentation.
- Monitor hazardous waste landfill activities, including waste placement, compaction, cover application, and cell management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable CPCB/SPCB environmental regulations and consent conditions.
- Maintain records of incoming waste, disposal activities, manifests, inventories, and operational data.
- Coordinate with laboratory, EHS, maintenance, transporters,



and other site teams.
- Conduct routine site inspections and identify operational or environmental issues.
- Monitor leachate collection, drainage, groundwater/environmental monitoring, and other landfill-related systems.
- Ensure secure handling of hazardous materials and adherence to PPE and safety procedures.
- Assist in preparing daily, monthly, and regulatory reports.
- Support environmental audits, inspections, and statutory compliance activities.
- Report incidents, non-conformities, and unsafe conditions to the appropriate authority.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure safe working conditions at the TSDF site.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of hazardous waste management and landfill operations.
- Understanding of environmental regulations and statutory compliance.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to work at a hazardous waste/industrial site.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Willingness to work in field/site conditions.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in TSDF, hazardous waste landfill, CETP, ETP, waste management, environmental compliance, or industrial EHS will be preferred.

Freshers with Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Job Location : Project/Site Location – As per company requirement (shaykha & dahej)

Employment Type : Full-Time : 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM

Reporting To : Project Manager / Plant Head

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
