Role Description The Travel Sales Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Kalkaji. This role involves advising customers on travel packages, destinations, and itineraries, and converting inquiries into confirmed bookings. The consultant will manage reservations, coordinate travel arrangements such as flights, hotels, and transfers, and ensure all details are accurate and aligned with client preferences and budget.
Day-to-day responsibilities include handling customer queries, providing timely follow-ups, maintaining records in booking systems, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues and enhance customer satisfaction. The role also includes promoting Tripgix offerings, identifying upsell opportunities,
and contributing to sales targets and continuous service improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong Travel Consulting and Travel Management skills to guide clients on destinations, itineraries, and suitable travel options.
- Experience handling Travel Arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and ground transport, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven Customer Service skills with the ability to manage inquiries, resolve concerns, and maintain a positive, professional demeanor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and convert leads into bookings.
- Sales orientation with basic negotiation skills and a focus on achieving individual and team targets.
- Ability to work in office in Kalkaji, manage time effectively, and handle multiple client requests simultaneously.
- Prior experience in a travel agency, tour operator, or related customer-facing role is preferred but not mandatory.
