Job Summary As a Software Engineer, you will work as part of a team responsible for debugging NetApp software products using functional/systemic tests and maintain quality standards for NetApp products. Assist in the test strategy, design, automation development, and testing. Collaborates with senior engineers to ensure that internal and external clients' needs are met.

Works closely with development engineers across different teams in the resolution of problems. As part of the Research and Development function, the overall focus of the group is on competitive market and customer requirements, technology advances, product quality, product cost, and time-to-market. This position requires an individual who is creative, team-oriented, a quick learner, and driven to produce results.

Job Requirements

- Preferred Automation Skills: Python, Pytest, and REST API Automation
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills
- Work collaboratively within a team of other engineers and have solid influencing skills
- Basic knowledge in software testing, test case writing,



and automated script development
- Understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, data structures, and standard programming practices
- Work with parent QA and development team in product quality efforts as necessary
- Strong automation skills with Python and Pytest
- Basic knowledge in microservices/containerization via Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
- Familiarity with working within public cloud environments (e.g., AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Basic knowledge of Storage Technologies (SAN, NAS, Object Store), virtualization, and cloud technologies
- Basic knowledge of Agile and CI/CD processes
- Knowledge or experience in AI/ML (LLM), Workflow, and Data Analytics
- Ability to work in changing environments and within a team

Education We are seeking candidates with a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, or with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
