Company Description Boli Cheto Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Telangana, India, dedicated to promoting and revitalizing indigenous languages and cultures through digital platforms and open knowledge. The foundation currently works with six Indian languages: Telugu, Gondi, Kolami, Assamese, Rabha, and Marathi, with Gondi, Kolami, and Rabha being indigenous languages from the southern and northeastern regions of India. By leveraging technology, Boli Cheto strives to empower rural communities, create livelihood opportunities, and contribute to sustainable development goals.

The organization believes that language and culture are core to community identity and must be preserved for future generations. The name “Boli Cheto” combines words from two indigenous languages, meaning “languages” and “awakening,” reflecting the foundation’s mission of linguistic and cultural resurgence.

About the role Boli Cheto is building a Think Tank,



a small group of people who think alongside our CEO and Core Team to strengthen the organization. This isn't a passive advisory seat; it's hands-on collaboration on where the Foundation goes next.

What you'll do

- Spot opportunities - grants, partnerships, and collaborations relevant to our mission
- Help turn those opportunities into concrete, fundable action plans
- Share resources - knowledge, templates, contacts, for new projects
- Advocate for Boli Cheto on social channels and at public convenings

Who we're looking for 5–10 years of experience in the development sector, with expertise in one or more of: Education, Language & Culture, or Agriculture & Livelihoods. For exceptional candidates, we're adaptable on the specifics; what matters most is genuine commitment to the time this role asks for.
