Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manual Tester with a strong background in manual testing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in software testing, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products. You will be responsible for ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance through rigorous testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Perform thorough manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects and ensure quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Document test results, report bugs, and track issues using appropriate tools.
- Participate in test planning and strategy discussions to improve testing processes.
- Conduct regression testing and ensure that existing functionality is not affected by recent changes.
- Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on best testing practices.




- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies.

Mandatory Skills
- Strong expertise in Manual Testing, including test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
- Proficient in using testing tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar for bug tracking.
- Excellent understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Ability to analyze requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with automation testing tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
- Knowledge of performance testing and security testing.
- Experience in testing APIs and web services.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in manual testing.
- Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
