STATIC VEHICLE TESTS at customer premises (wheel unloading, souplesse and similar tests)
- Assembly and disassembly of test rigs and auxiliary mechanical equipment required for Railway Vehicle testing.
- Installation, setup & removal of hydraulic equipment, including hoses, connections and load application systems.
- Vehicle instrumentation and cabling, including installation and connection of displacement sensors, inclinometers, load cells and other measurement devices.
- Verification and validation of the complete test setup prior to test execution.
- Support during test execution, including monitoring of instrumentation and measurement systems.
- Assistance with basic troubleshooting of instrumentation, hydraulic and cabling systems during testing activities.
- Cooperation with test engineers from Spain during test preparation, execution and in office data analysis.
- Handling, maintenance & transport of testing equipment & instrumentation.
Carbody shell structural tests (less frequent):
- Test rig mounting and dismounting (portable structural test rig)
- Carbody shell instrumentation and cabling (strain gauges bonding and cable connection)
- Test set-up verification
- Support test engineers during preparation, execution and on-site activities
Railway vehicle and track testing activities (less frequent):
- Installation and removal of sensors, cables and data acquisition equipment on railway vehicles and infrastructure
- Preparation and verification of measurement systems
- Support during on-track testing campaigns
- Basic troubleshooting of instrumentation and cabling
- Handling, transport and maintenance of testing equipment
Tranining: Will be provided at Company facility & HQ in Europe
1. A training will be provided to ensure familiarity with railway testing procedures, instrumentation techniques & measurement systems at clinet's faility in Europe - an independent testing and engineering company specialized in the railway sector, providing services to major manufacturers, operators and infrastructure managers worldwide.
Preferred candidate profile
- Education: BE Mechatronic/Electronics/Instrumrntation/Electrical degree with electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Experience: Minimum 2 year to 6 years with proven experience in any of the following:
1. Electrical and mechanical maintenance or troubleshooting
2. Setup of test rigs and/or specific mechanical/electrical equipment
3. Desirable experience in railway sector or in sensors and acquisition (but not necessary)
- Languages: English mandatory. Spanish would be desirable but not necessary (not a primary request)
- Other requirements or competencies:

4. Availability for travel within India and to other countries (Asia and Oceania)
