About the Role

We are seeking a customer-facing Technical Lead with strong ERP and integration delivery experience to support cloud-based e-invoicing implementation projects. This role focuses on technical discovery, solution scoping, and integration leadership—guiding customers through architecture decisions and technical readiness while partnering closely with internal delivery teams responsible for configuration and development.

You will not have access to the e‑Invoicing software. Instead, you will serve as the technical bridge between customer stakeholders (Business, IT, ERP teams) and our internal delivery organization, including implementation consultants and integration consultants. You will lead technical workshops, define integration approaches, and drive technical alignment to enable successful implementations.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Consultant Responsibilities (Customer-Facing)

- Lead customer discovery and technical scoping sessions for e‑invoicing requirements, including:
- Business flows: B2B, B2G, B2C, AR, AP
- Transaction types: domestic, export, import, intercompany, reverse charge
- Document types: invoices, credit notes, debit notes, e‑reporting
- Explain country-specific e‑invoicing and compliance flows to customers in clear business and technical terms.
- Assess the customer's ERP landscape and map O2C (Order-to-Cash) and P2P (Procure-to-Pay) processes to e‑invoicing requirements.
- Lead integration planning discussions and recommend ERP-to-cloud connectivity approaches (e.g., SFTP, HTTPS, APIs) based on customer constraints and best practices.
- Facilitate technical discussions on data formats and structure (e.g., XML, JSON, CSV, EDI), including:
- Defining required data elements and mapping needs
- Identifying data quality gaps and upstream dependencies
- Aligning on transformation, validation, and enrichment requirements
- Define the end-to-end integration approach and data flow patterns, including triggers, acknowledgements, error handling, retries, and monitoring considerations.




- Coordinate with customer IT teams on:
- Integration architecture and technical prerequisites
- Security and access requirements (e.g., certificates, authentication, IP allowlists, encryption)
- Environment readiness (DEV/TEST/PROD connectivity)
- Provide functional/technical guidance on process impacts and integration patterns to support solution alignment.
- Act as the escalation point for complex technical questions and coordinate with internal technical teams to drive timely resolution.
- Review and validate technical deliverables produced by internal teams (e.g., mappings, interface specs, integration designs) to ensure they meet requirements and follow agreed integration patterns.

Required Qualifications

- 6+ years of hands-on experience in ERP implementation and/or integration delivery (SAP or Oracle strongly preferred).
- Solid experience integrating ERP systems with external/third-party platforms, including end-to-end integration design, delivery support, and troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of O2C and P2P business processes and how these map to invoicing and compliance needs.
- Working knowledge of integration technologies and patterns, including APIs, HTTPS, SFTP, web services, and middleware.
- Familiarity with enterprise data formats and structures, including XML, JSON, CSV, and EDI.
- Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for both business and IT stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and drive technical alignment in a customer delivery environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in e‑invoicing, tax compliance, regulatory reporting, or similar compliance-driven integration programs.
- Experience as an ERP functional/technical consultant (e.g., SAP FI/SD/MM or Oracle Financials/SCM).
- Background in solution consulting, implementation consulting, or technical advisory roles.
- Understanding of international tax processes and compliance considerations across multiple geographies.
- Experience working with global customers and multi-ERP environments.
