About the RoleIndia Health Link is building a new multi-tenant Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) with optional AI-enabled features.

We are looking for a hands-on Tech Lead / Architect who can own the platform architecture while continuing to write production code.

You will make key technical decisions around multi-tenancy, billing, PostgreSQL architecture, event-driven systems and offline synchronisation, while guiding the engineering team through delivery.

Tech StackTypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, React, React Native, AWS, Redis, DynamoDB, EventBridge, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Playwright and Python.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the overall technical architecture of the platform.
- Design the multi-tenant foundation, IAM, roles, permissions and audit trails.
- Remain hands-on and write production code regularly.
- Build critical components including the tenancy core, billing engine and offline synchronisation layer.
- Set engineering standards for database design, APIs, migrations, testing and code reviews.
- Design event-driven workflows and reliable system integrations.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical direction to the development team.
- Work with the Business Analyst to convert hospital workflows into technical specifications.
- Ensure the platform is ready for third-party VAPT and production deployment.





Must-Have Experience
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in senior technical or architecture roles.
- Hands-on experience designing, building and launching a multi-tenant SaaS product in production.
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js development experience.
- Robust PostgreSQL and SQL knowledge including indexing, query plans, transactions and production migrations.
- Practical experience with event-driven architecture, including idempotency, outbox patterns and event handling.
- Experience designing and operating applications on AWS or similar cloud platforms.
- Experience leading software engineering teams while remaining hands-on with code.
- Strong system design, API design and database architecture skills.

Good to Have
- NestJS experience.
- Healthcare / HMIS experience.
- HL7, FHIR, DICOM or ABDM knowledge.
- Offline-first or synchronisation-heavy applications.
- Billing, payments, accounting or ledger systems.
