Job Title: Team Lead – Electrical Engineering

Experience: 10-15 Years in Industrial Automation / SPM design/ Machine Tool/Food Industry

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with strong knowledge in industrial automation and AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SOLIDWORKS ELECTRICAL. The candidate will be responsible for designing electrical systems, preparing drawings, and supporting project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership

· Lead electrical design for control panels, power distribution, and automation systems

· Review and approve:

· Electrical schematics (EPLAN / AutoCAD Electrical/SolidWorks Electrical)

· BOMs and component selection

· Ensure compliance with standards (IEC, UL, CE, CSA as applicable)

· Support complex troubleshooting during commissioning and testing

2. Team Management

· Manage and mentor a team of electrical design engineers

· Allocate tasks based on project priority and engineer capability

· Conduct performance reviews and provide technical guidance

· Identify training needs (technical + soft skills)

3. Project Execution

· Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards

· Coordinate with:

o Mechanical team o PLC/Software team o Manufacturing & assembly

· Track progress and resolve bottlenecks

4. Customer Interaction





· Act as technical point of contact for customers

· Participate in design reviews and technical discussions

· Handle change requests and provide solutions

· Support FAT/SAT activities

5. Design & Standards

· Develop and standardize electrical design practices

· Maintain design libraries, templates, and reusable modules

· Ensure proper documentation and version control

6. Procurement & Vendor Coordination

· Support vendor selection and technical evaluation

· Review vendor drawings and ensure compliance

· Optimize cost without compromising quality

7. Testing & Commissioning Support

· Support panel testing (FAT) and site commissioning

· Assist in troubleshooting field issues

· Ensure proper documentation and closure

Qualifications and Skills:

· B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.

· Strong hands-on experience in AutoCAD Electrical ,Eplan,Solidworks Electrical

· Good understanding of:

o PLC systems (Allenbradley,Siemens)

o VFDs and motor control (Allenbradley,Siemens)

o Control panel design

· Safety systems (SIL, safety relays, interlocks)

· Electrical panel design (MCC, PCC, control panels)

· Understanding of international standards (IEC / UL / CE /CSA)

· Leadership & team mentoring

· Robust communication (customer + internal teams)

· Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

· Problem-solving and decision-making
