Role Description This is a full-time, on-site System Administrator role based in Kolkata.

The System

Administrator will manage and maintain servers, workstations, and network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Daily responsibilities include monitoring system health, applying updates and patches, managing user accounts and permissions, and performing routine backups and recovery tasks. The role also involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing hands-on technical support to internal teams, and collaborating with developers and other IT staff to optimize systems and support ongoing projects. Documentation of configurations, procedures,



and incident resolutions is expected to maintain a clear and organized IT environment.

Qualifications

- Strong System Administration skills, including server management, user account management, and operating system configuration.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose, resolve, and document hardware, software, and network issues.
- Experience with Network Administration, including routing, switching, firewalls, and basic network security practices.
- Solid foundation in Information Technology concepts, infrastructure, and best practices for security, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Familiarity with common server operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows Server) and virtualization or cloud platforms is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and collaborate in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft, or Linux certifications) are an advantage.
