Roles and Responsibilities:
- Administer Cohesity backup environments, including configuration, backup execution, and restore activities.
- Design and maintain backup and recovery procedures to protect data integrity and security.
- Monitor backup infrastructure health, capacity, and job status, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Provide advanced technical support, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting for backup and recovery incidents.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and the Cohesity vendor to support issue resolution and operational improvements.
Skills Required:
- 5+ years of experience in backup and recovery administration.
- Robust hands-on experience with Cohesity backup solutions in enterprise environments.
- Experience managing backup and recovery operations, including restore validation and data protection workflows.
- Ability to monitor platform health, storage utilization, and operational stability in a production setting.
- Experience providing technical support and troubleshooting for backup-related incidents in a 24x7 support model.
Good to Have:
- Exposure to other backup solutions.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
