Job Purpose/ Summary





Ensuring robust analysis of forecast performance and driving initiatives that enable the business to efficiently meet customer demand, improve supply chain efficiency, optimize inventory, and maximize product availability across all channels.

Support demand forecasting activities by collecting historical sales data, preparing statistical forecasts, and assisting in consensus demand planning meetings. Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Category, Finance, and Manufacturing teams to monitor inventory levels, production plans, new product launches, and promotional requirements. Prepare weekly inventory reports, monitor stock availability, update planning systems, maintain master data accuracy, assist in S&OP; activities, analyze forecast accuracy, identify supply risks, and recommend corrective actions to improve customer service levels and inventory efficiency.

Ensure timely communication with manufacturing plants regarding production requirements and support inventory liquidation initiatives to reduce excess stock.

Responsibility

Prepare and analyze statistical forecasts and demand planning reports to support business objectivesbr Monitor forecast accuracy and implement strategies to improve forecasting processes and outcomesbr Coordinate production planning activities with manufacturing plants to align with demand forecastsbr Maintain optimal inventory levels and establish safety stock norms to ensure product availabilitybr Prepare and distribute weekly inventory net requirement reports to relevant stakeholdersbr Support Sales and Operations Planning SOP meetings through data preparation and comprehensive reportingbr Monitor and manage new product launches promotions and product transitions to ensure supply chain alignmentbr Maintain and update SAP planning data and master data to ensure accuracy and reliabilitybr Analyze inventory aging and develop strategies to support liquidation activities effectivelybr Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and resolve supply chain issues promptlybr Generate Management Information System MIS reports and planning dashboards for management review and decisionmaking
