Role Description The Study Abroad Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in India. The advisor will counsel prospective students on suitable countries, institutions, and programs, considering academic background, career goals, and financial factors. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one consultations, organizing information sessions, supporting application preparation, and advising on documentation requirements.

The advisor will guide students on visa processes, timelines, and compliance, in coordination with institutional and government guidelines. The role also involves maintaining accurate student records, coordinating with partner institutions,



responding to inquiries via email and phone, and contributing to outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong Educational Consulting and general Consulting skills to guide students on suitable programs, institutions, and study pathways.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Communication abilities to conduct effective counseling sessions and build trust with students and families.
- Knowledge of Visas and related procedures to provide accurate information on study permits, documentation, and application timelines.
- Ability to work with diverse backgrounds, demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, international relations, or a related field; postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Experience in overseas education counseling, university admissions, or student advisory roles preferred.
- Proficiency in English and at least one additional Indian language, with robust writing and presentation skills.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple student cases simultaneously.
