Company Description TK Velocity Wheels (TKVW) is a magnesium-first high-pressure die-casting foundry based in Chennai, established in 2023. The company partners with automotive OEMs and tier-one suppliers to convert aluminum components to magnesium, enabling lighter parts, thinner sections, better NVH performance, and part consolidation. TKVW is designed from the ground up for magnesium, prioritizing stringent safety standards and then extending capabilities to aluminum, rather than retrofitting.

In less than two years, TKVW has become a proven supplier of magnesium steering-wheel armatures for passenger cars and is expanding into current structural components. The team focuses on innovation, safety, and quality to support customers seeking high-performance lightweight solutions.

Role Description The Stores Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based at the TKVW facility in Chennai.

The Stores

Executive will manage daily store operations, including receiving, inspecting, and issuing raw materials, consumables, and finished goods related to die casting activities.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, updating stock levels in ERP or inventory systems, organizing storage areas, and ensuring proper labeling and traceability of materials. The role involves coordinating with production, quality, purchase, and logistics teams to support uninterrupted manufacturing,



timely dispatches, and compliance with safety and housekeeping standards.

The Stores

Executive will also assist in stock audits, monitoring minimum and reorder levels, and continuously improving store processes and documentation.

Qualifications

- Customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Communication abilities to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Retail and Sales-related experience that supports efficient material handling, stock rotation, and basic understanding of supply and demand.
- Background in Commerce or a related field, with comfort in handling documentation, invoices, GRNs, and basic inventory accounting.
- Experience in stores/inventory management within a manufacturing or automotive environment, preferably in foundry or die casting operations.
- Proficiency with ERP or inventory management software, Excel, and standard documentation practices.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to maintain organized records and storage layouts.
- Understanding of safety protocols for handling industrial materials and commitment to maintaining a safe, clean store setting.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Mechanical/Production, or a related discipline is preferred.
