1. Job Purpose

The Steward is responsible for providing professional and courteous food and beverage service to guests while maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, proper table setup, and high service standards. The Steward ensures that guests receive prompt and satisfactory service throughout their dining experience.
1. Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Welcome and assist guests in a polite and professional manner.
- Prepare and arrange tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery, glassware, napkins, and other service items.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant, dining area, service station, and assigned work areas.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen/bar team.
- Serve food and beverages according to hotel service standards.
- Clear used plates, glasses, cutlery, and other items from tables promptly.
- Assist in resetting tables for the next guests.
- Ensure all service equipment is clean, polished, and properly arranged.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and provide courteous assistance.
- Inform the Captain/Supervisor about guest complaints, special requests, or service issues.
- Coordinate with Kitchen, Bar, Stewarding, and Front Office teams whenever required.
- Follow proper food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Handle crockery, glassware, cutlery, and restaurant equipment carefully to prevent damage.




- Assist in buffet setup, events, banquets, conferences, and other hotel functions when required.
- Check and maintain adequate stock of service items in assigned areas.
- Follow grooming, uniform, attendance, and discipline standards of the hotel.
- Maintain professional behavior and positive communication with guests and colleagues.
- Follow all hotel policies, departmental SOPs, and instructions given by supervisors.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Management according to operational requirements.

1. Qualification & Experience

Education: Minimum 10th/12th pass. Hotel Management or Hospitality qualification will be an advantage.

Experience:

- Freshers may apply.
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, resort, banquet, or F&B; service department will be preferred.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
