Job Overview: Sr. QA Engineer (4 Years of experience)

We are seeking a skilled and versatile QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in test automation (including Playwright), manual testing, mobile app QA, CI/CD pipeline setup, Elasticsearch testing, and AWS integration. This role requires a proactive professional who ensures the quality of applications across platforms while collaborating with development, DevOps, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Automation Testing:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.

Ensure comprehensive test coverage for functional, regression, and performance testing.

Debug and troubleshoot automation issues to improve reliability.

- Manual Testing:

Conduct manual testing for web and mobile applications.

Create and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and scenarios.

Perform exploratory testing to uncover usability and edge cases.

- CI/CD Pipeline Management:

Integrate test automation (including Playwright tests) into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.

Manage build, test, and deployment workflows.

- Mobile App QA:

Perform end-to-end testing on Android and iOS platforms.





Test across multiple devices and OS versions to ensure compatibility and performance.

- AWS Integration & Testing:

Collaborate with DevOps teams for AWS-based applications.

Test services like S3, EC2, Lambda, and API Gateway.

- Collaboration & Reporting:

Work closely with developers and product teams.

Document test results, bug reports, and quality metrics.

Contribute to improving QA processes and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years in QA (automation, manual, and mobile testing).

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Mocha).
- Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch (indexing, querying, validation).
- API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Knowledge of AWS services (S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway).
- Mobile app testing tools (BrowserStack, Firebase Test Lab).
- Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
