Role & responsibilities:

- Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) based on customer specifications and project requirements.

- Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), assembly drawings, and fabrication drawings.

- Design mechanical components such as Jigs &
- Fixtures, Pneumatic Systems, Linear Motion Systems, and Material Handling Equipment

.

- Perform design calculations, component selection, and tolerance analysis.

- Coordinate with production, fabrication, procurement, and assembly teams to ensure smooth manufacturing and implementation.

- Modify and improve existing machine designs to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.

- Support machine assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.

- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications.

- Maintain design documentation, revision history,



and engineering records.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

- Hands-on experience in SPM, Jig &
- Fixture, and Material Handling Equipments.

- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication, machining, and sheet metal components.

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.;

- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualification:

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
