Perform fiber optic splicing using fusion splicing machines.
- Prepare fiber cables (stripping, cleaning, cleaving) before splicing.
- Test fiber links using OTDR, power meter, and light source.
- Identify and troubleshoot fiber faults, signal loss, and network issues.
- Install, terminate, and maintain fiber optic cables in indoor and outdoor environments.
- Maintain splice records, test reports, and as-built documentation.
- Work on FTTH, backbone, and last-mile connectivity projects.
- Ensure proper labeling and cable management.
- Follow safety standards and company procedures during field work.
- Coordinate with project engineers and network teams.
