About the Company The company is engaged in the purchase, refurbishment, servicing, and resale of used construction and mining equipment including Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Backhoe Loaders, Dozers, Motor Graders, and allied heavy machinery. The organization is expanding its spare parts sourcing and procurement network with a strong focus on China-based OEMs, aftermarket suppliers, and component manufacturers.

Role Overview The Parts Purchase Manager will be responsible for end-to-end procurement and sourcing of spare parts, aggregates, attachments, consumables, and components for construction and mining equipment, with a major focus on China-based vendors and suppliers.

The role requires strong expertise in international sourcing, vendor development, pricing negotiations, import coordination, and technical understanding of CE equipment spare parts. The candidate should be capable of building a reliable supplier ecosystem across China while ensuring quality, cost optimization, and timely availability of parts for workshop and refurbishment operations.

Key Responsibilities

China Sourcing & Vendor Development

- Develop and manage supplier relationships across China for construction equipment spare parts and components.
- Identify reliable OEM and aftermarket suppliers for Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Dozers, Backhoe Loaders, Engines, Hydraulics, Undercarriage Parts, and Attachments.
- Conduct supplier evaluation based on pricing, quality, delivery timelines, and technical capabilities.
- Travel to China for supplier meetings, factory visits, audits, and negotiations as required.

Procurement & Commercial Management
- Handle end-to-end procurement activities including RFQs, price negotiations, purchase orders, and supplier contracts.




- Ensure competitive pricing and cost optimization for imported parts.
- Manage procurement planning based on workshop refurbishment schedules and inventory requirements.
- Coordinate with finance and logistics teams for payment terms, LC documentation, and import processes.

Technical Coordination
- Work closely with workshop, service, and refurbishment teams to understand technical part requirements.
- Source spare parts for major CE brands including Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Volvo, JCB, Hyundai, Kobelco, SANY, XCMG, SDLG, LiuGong, etc.
- Understand part specifications, interchangeability, and aftermarket compatibility.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely procurement of fast-moving and critical parts.
- Reduce machine downtime through efficient sourcing and inventory planning.
- Maintain procurement MIS, vendor database, pricing records, and sourcing reports.

Import & Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, and logistics teams for smooth import operations.
- Ensure compliance with import documentation, timelines, and shipment tracking.
- Manage shipment planning from China to India efficiently.

Desired Candidate Profile
- 815 years of experience in spare parts procurement for Construction Equipment, Mining Equipment, or Heavy Machinery industry.
- Strong exposure to China sourcing and international vendor management.
- Valuable understanding of CE spare parts, hydraulics, engines, transmission systems, undercarriage, and attachments.
- Experience in handling imports, international commercial negotiations, and supplier development.
- Strong vendor negotiation and cost optimization skills.
- Knowledge of Chinese supplier ecosystem for CE equipment will be highly preferred.
- Ability to travel internationally as per business requirements.
