Role Description The Solar Rooftop Technician is a full-time, in office role based in Malout, responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing rooftop solar power systems. Daily tasks include preparing sites, mounting solar panels and related equipment, routing wiring, and ensuring systems are installed safely and in accordance with technical specifications and local regulations.

The technician will inspect and test solar systems, diagnose performance issues, and perform corrective maintenance and repairs as needed. The role also involves coordinating with supervisors and project engineers, documenting work performed,



following safety protocols, and providing basic guidance to customers on system operation and upkeep.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Solar Systems and Solar Power, including installation, configuration, and performance optimization.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of the Solar Industry and Power Generation, including basic electrical concepts and safety standards.
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in rooftop solar installations.
- Relevant technical qualification (e.g., diploma or certification in electrical, electronics, or renewable energy) is preferred.
- Ability to work at heights, use hand and power tools safely, and follow strict health and safety procedures.
- Basic understanding of wiring diagrams, electrical measurements, and use of diagnostic instruments (e.g., multimeters).
- Effective communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work in a team on-site in varying weather conditions.
- Prior experience in solar installation, maintenance, or related field is an advantage.
