About the Role

We are looking for a Solar Installation Technician who can support the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar PV systems.

Candidates with prior experience in solar panel installation are preferred. Candidates without direct solar experience may also apply if they have a strong understanding of electrical systems and are willing to learn solar installation techniques.

Key Responsibilities

- Install solar PV panels on residential and commercial rooftops.
- Install and connect inverters, DC/AC cables, isolators, junction boxes, and other system components.
- Perform DC and AC electrical connections safely and correctly.
- Assist with mounting structure installation and panel alignment.
- Perform system testing and commissioning.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic electrical and solar system issues.
- Conduct maintenance and repair work on installed solar systems.
- Follow electrical safety procedures and installation standards.
- Coordinate with engineers and project supervisors during installations.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and installation materials.




- Complete installation work according to project timelines and quality requirements.
- Travel to customer sites across the assigned area as required.

Requirements

- Prior experience in solar panel installation is preferred.
- Candidates without solar experience can apply if they have positive electrical knowledge or practical electrical experience.
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring, voltage, current, AC/DC systems, and electrical safety.
- Ability to work on rooftops and at outdoor customer sites.
- Physically fit and comfortable with field work.
- Willingness to travel for installation and service jobs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good to Have

- Previous experience with rooftop solar installations.
- Experience working with solar inverters and mounting structures.
- Knowledge of DC/AC protection systems.
- Experience with electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and clamp meters.
- Knowledge of basic solar system troubleshooting.
- Valid driving licence.

Training For candidates with strong electrical knowledge but limited solar experience, Ariraa Digital Services will provide training in solar installation, system components, safety procedures, commissioning, and maintenance.
