Objective

Execute manual test cases to ensure the software works correctly, meets requirements, and is free of major defects before release.

The duration of this contract is only for 2 months. This is not a long term opportunity.

Core Responsibilities

1. Test Case Execution

- Execute assigned test cases step-by-step
- Compare actual results with expected results
- Mark test cases as Pass/Fail/Blocked

2. Functional Testing

- Validate application features as per requirements
- Test different user flows and scenarios
- Verify: Inputs, Outputs, Business logic

3. Defect Identification & Reporting

- Identify bugs/issues during testing
- Log defects with Steps to reproduce, Expected vs actual result, Screenshots/videos, Re-test fixes after resolution

4. Regression Testing

- Re-run test cases after changes or bug fixes
- Ensure existing functionality is not broken

5. Test Data Preparation

- Create and manage test data required for testing
- Use realistic and varied data inputs

6. Basic UI Validation

Check

- Form validations
- Error messages
- Navigation flows
- Identify usability issues

Documentation & Tracking

- Maintain test execution status
- Update defect tracking tools
- Provide daily/weekly progress updates

8. Collaboration

- Work with QA lead and developers
- Clarify requirements when needed
- Report blockers early

- Basic understanding of software testing concepts

- Bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
- Familiarity with Excel or test management tools

Pay: ₹25,000.00 per month
