Role Description The Software Quality Assurance Engineer is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. In this role, the engineer will design and execute test plans and test cases to verify software quality across Farsight’s HR solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing manual testing, identifying and documenting defects, collaborating with software development teams to resolve issues, and validating bug fixes.

The engineer will also participate in requirement reviews,



contribute to quality assurance processes and standards, and support release readiness by ensuring that software meets functional, performance, and usability criteria.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Software Quality, Quality Assurance, and Software Quality Assurance to ensure robust, reliable HR solutions.
- Candidates should possess skills in Manual Testing to design, execute, and document comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Software Development to understand system architecture, workflows, and integration points.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with test case management, defect tracking tools, and basic SQL or database validation is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage priorities in a rapid-paced product environment.
- Familiarity with HR or enterprise software domains is an advantage.
