We are creating an AI-native platform that helps engineering teams execute the software delivery lifecycle with speed, quality, and control - from planning and implementation to testing, release, governance, and production feedback.

We're looking for a Software Engineer I – Backend who enjoys solving complex problems and building reliable, scalable systems in a fast-moving setting.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
- Build REST APIs, microservices, integrations, and backend workflows.
- Develop reliable systems using databases, caching, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architectures.
- Write clean, maintainable, secure, and well-tested code.
- Collaborate with AI, frontend, platform, and product teams to deliver features end to end.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, debugging, and system design.
- Integrate third-party services, developer tools, and cloud platforms.
- Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to long-term solutions.
- Explore and contribute to AI-powered capabilities and intelligent software workflows.

What We're Looking For

- 1–3 years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, Java, or Node.js/TypeScript.
- Good understanding of APIs, databases, data structures, algorithms,



and software engineering principles.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Ownership mindset and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Interest in AI, developer tools, cloud infrastructure, and modern software engineering.

Technical Skills

- Python, Go, Java, or Node.js/TypeScript
- REST APIs and microservices
- PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar databases
- Redis and caching concepts
- Asynchronous programming and event-driven systems
- Docker and containerised applications
- AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Git and CI/CD workflows
- Kubernetes and cloud-native development is a plus
- Logging, monitoring, observability, and production debugging
- AI/LLM APIs, RAG, embeddings, or AI agents is a plus
