: Full Stack Software Engineer

About the Role

We are building an AI-powered software platform that automates data verification and enrichment for a Master Data Management (MDM) system for a major qualified services client. The platform automates company record verification, enrichment, and disambiguation at scale, processing 100k+ live records with 30+ concurrent users.

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer who can own the entire technical foundation of this platform, from designing the architecture to building and shipping it.

We are an AI-first team. We expect you to actively use AI tools, Cursor, Claude, or similar, as part of your daily engineering workflow to move faster and build better.

What You Will Own

Architecture & Design

- Evaluate the current POC (FastAPI + JSON + single HTML file) and design the production architecture from scratch
- Choose and justify the right tech stack based on the use case, database, frontend framework, hosting, queue system, caching
- Design for scale, 30+ concurrent users, 100k+ live records, real time processing
- Define and document the full system architecture before any build begins

Backend

- Migrate data storage from JSON flat files to a production database
- Build a robust async job processing system for high volume record ingestion without blocking
- API design, versioning, and documentation
- Performance optimization, query tuning, caching, connection pooling

Frontend

- Build a production grade frontend to replace the current single page prototype
- Steward queue, record detail view, approval and override flows, settings, admin panel
- Real time updates, search, filter, pagination for large datasets




- Role based views

Infrastructure & DevOps
- Set up cloud infrastructure: hosting, load balancing, auto scaling, monitoring, alert
- CI/CD pipelines with staging and production environments
- Database backups, disaster recovery, uptime SLAs
- Containerization and deployment strategy

Security

- Design and implement authentication and session management
- Role based access control
- Data encryption at rest and in transit
- Security hardening across all layers
- Audit logging for all user actions

Optimisation

- Identify and resolve bottlenecks as the platform scales
- Monitor performance in production and proactively address issues
- Cost optimisation on cloud infrastructure

What You Need

- 8+ years of total IT experience, including 4+ years of full stack software engineering experience
- Proven experience designing production architectures — not just building to spec
- Actively uses AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or similar) as a core part of day-to-day engineering work.
- Strong Python 3.14.7 backend experience (FastAPI preferred)
- Production grade Angular 22 frontend development experience
- Database design and optimization — PostgreSQL or equivalent
- Cloud infrastructure — AWS or Azure
- Async task processing — Celery, Redis, or similar
- CI/CD, Docker, containerization
- Deep understanding of security best practices
- Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

- Experienced with Informatica MDM or similar tools
- Experience building platforms for enterprise clients
