We're hiring a Software Engineer – Backend to join our team remotely from India.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to own and improve critical backend systems built on the Microsoft technology stack.

You will work across C#/.NET services, REST APIs, SQL Server, Microsoft Azure, and Azure DevOps CI/CD.

This is a high-ownership role with limited day-to-day technical handholding. We need someone who can understand existing systems, diagnose issues independently, make sound technical decisions, and drive work through completion.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend applications using C# and .NET
- Design, maintain, and troubleshoot REST APIs and integrations
- Manage and improve Azure resources and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, and data-access patterns
- Diagnose production issues across applications, databases, cloud infrastructure, and deployments
- Improve reliability, scalability, monitoring, performance,



and deployment processes
- Contribute to backend architecture and technical decision-making
- Proactively identify and resolve technical risks and operational issues

Required experience

- C# and .NET
- ASP.NET / ASP.NET MVC / ASP.NET Core
- Microsoft Azure
- Azure DevOps and CI/CD
- SQL Server
- REST API development
- Git
- Production backend troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field

Preferred experience

- Azure App Service, Functions, Storage, or Service Bus
- Cloud-based or distributed backend systems
- Monitoring, logging, diagnostics, and performance optimization
- AI, Generative AI, LLM applications, Azure OpenAI, or other AI APIs
