About SRIIO
We build foundational intelligence systems and the infrastructure beneath them. Our mission is to translate intelligence into reality — to build systems in which pure intent becomes reliable execution at scale.
Every system we ship is engineered around three properties: scalable, reliable, intelligent. Without all three, the work is incomplete. Our priority sequence is constant: security, privacy, scalability. Privacy is preserved through architecture. Interoperability is preserved through open standards. Continuity is preserved through sovereign infrastructure.
We are early, small, and building for a long horizon. That means an intern here writes code that ships — not tickets that sit.
The Role
You will work alongside the founding team across the stack: algorithmic core, backend services, AI systems, and the interfaces that expose them. You will not be handed a sandbox project to keep you busy. You will own a real slice of the product, and you will be expected to defend your design decisions — architecturally, ethically, and operationally.
The internship runs 3 or 6 months, depending on your availability and academic calendar. Tell us which you're looking for when you apply.
What You'll Work On
Designing and implementing algorithms and data structures where correctness and complexity actually matter under load
Building backend services and APIs in Golang — concurrency, reliability, clean interfaces
Developing AI/ML components in Python — model integration, data pipelines, evaluation, and LLM-based workflows
Building responsive, accessible frontends in ReactJS
Writing tests, instrumentation, and documentation as part of the work, not after it
Participating in design and code reviews with a security-and-privacy-first lens
Core Requirements
Strong fundamentals in Data Structures & Algorithms — you can reason about time and space complexity without being prompted
Working proficiency in Golang and/or Python, with the demonstrated ability to pick up the rest quickly
Practical familiarity with ReactJS and modern frontend patterns
Working understanding of AI/ML concepts — model APIs, embeddings, prompt and evaluation workflows, or classical ML fundamentals
Comfort with Git, Linux, and reading unfamiliar codebases
Clear written communication. If you can't explain the design, it isn't done
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in CS, IT, or a related field — or able to show equivalent work
Able to work hybrid from Chandigarh
Good to Have
Open-source contributions, or a GitHub profile with real, working projects
Competitive programming record (Codeforces, LeetCode, ICPC, or equivalent)
Exposure to distributed systems, databases, containers, or cloud infrastructure
Experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases, or agent frameworks
Interest in security, cryptography, privacy-preserving architecture, or open standards
What You Get
Direct mentorship from the founding team — no layers between you and the decisions
Ownership of real production work, with your name on it
Internship certificate and a letter of recommendation on completion
Strong performers will be considered for a full time role
