Festivals From India is hiring for their client, Ashvita's, who is seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager with 2+ years of experience in social media and digital communications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing engaging social media strategies, managing digital platforms, and strengthening the brand’s online presence.
The role requires strong content and communication skills, an understanding of social media trends, and the ability to use analytics and insights to optimise campaigns, drive engagement, and build a growing digital community.

Established in 2002 by Ashvin E. Rajagopalan, Ashvita’s is a diversified art business specialising in Indian Art and collectables. Headquartered in Chennai, Ashvita’s conducts museum-quality exhibitions and operates ashvitas.com, a premier online auction house.
Ashvita’s provides a vast range of art services that include private acquisitions and sales, wealth management, valuation, conservation, archival services, display and art logistics. Ashvita’s works with select individual collectors, corporate collections, and institutions. Ashvita’s has developed cultural programming and events with critics, art historians, and artists, including public talks, film screenings, performances, studio visits and workshops.
Our education department is focused on audience engagement across schools and colleges, as well as on publishing in-depth books on Indian Art.

Essential Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a Marketing & Communications-related field
- Strong communication skills, with written and verbal proficiency in English
- Knowledge of at least one vernacular Indian language is ideal; Tamil preferred
Essential Experience:
- 2+ years of experience working in Social Media Marketing roles
- Demonstrated understanding of strategising and managing content for creative businesses
- A thorough understanding and familiarity with multiple digital channels, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, MailChimp, WhatsApp, Meta Business Suite and others
- Experience working with creative brands and developing brand strategies preferred
- Awareness and interest in social media and digital communication trends is a must
- Experience working in diverse teams and prior experience working for a structured company.

Key Roles/Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with Ashvita’s brand, exhibitions, artists, programmes, and various IPs.
- Manage and strengthen the digital presence of Ashvita’s and its IPs, ensuring consistent brand communication, positioning, and audience engagement across platforms.
- Create and curate engaging content across social media platforms, including copy, visuals, reels, stories, and other multimedia formats.
- Manage day-to-day social media activities, including content calendars, scheduling, publishing, and community engagement.
- Develop creative, platform-specific campaigns to drive audience growth, engagement, and brand visibility.
- Track and analyse social media performance, using insights to optimise content and improve reach, engagement, and audience growth.
- Identify and coordinate collaborations with artists, creators, influencers, cultural platforms, and relevant partners to expand Ashvita’s digital reach.
- Support email campaigns, newsletters, and other digital communications to engage audiences with Ashvita’s programmes, exhibitions, and initiatives.
- Stay updated on social media trends, emerging formats, digital tools, and developments within the art and cultural landscape to keep Ashvita’s digital presence relevant and engaging.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure consistency in brand communication across digital and social channels.
- Support the planning and execution of paid social media campaigns, working with relevant teams or agencies to optimise reach and campaign performance.
- Manage website updates, ensuring content is current, accurate, and aligned with Ashvita’s brand.
