Job Overview

SolidCAM is looking for a creative, energetic, and proactive Social Media & Content Specialist to join our Global Marketing team in Pune. This is a hands-on role for a mid-level marketing professional who can take ideas from concept to execution across social media, copywriting, graphic design, and short-form video.

The role has a robust focus on SolidCAM for EDU, our education-focused initiative designed to engage students, educators, institutions, and the next generation of CAM professionals. You will help create content that builds awareness, encourages learning, highlights student and education success stories, and strengthens SolidCAM's presence within the education community.

You will also support global product, webinar, event, and brand campaigns. The successful candidate should be comfortable presenting selected tutorials, interviews, and short-form videos on camera.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content

- Plan, schedule, and publish content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
- Own and maintain monthly social media content calendars in coordination with the Global Marketing team.
- Write engaging captions, scripts, social media copy, educational content, and promotional messaging.
- Create content for SolidCAM for EDU, including student-focused stories, certifications, partnerships, educational initiatives, and learning content.
- Monitor social media trends and audience engagement and turn relevant trends into practical content ideas.
- Track content performance and prepare basic reports with recommendations for improvement.

Graphic & Video Content

- Create professional social media graphics, carousels, banners, presentations, event creatives, and promotional assets.




- Produce and edit reels, short-form videos, tutorials, interviews, and event highlights.
- Adapt creative content for different platforms and formats while maintaining SolidCAM's global brand guidelines.
- Support selected on-camera content and present clearly and confidently when required.

Global Marketing Support

- Support global marketing campaigns, webinars, product launches, exhibitions, and educational initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal, regional, and product teams to gather content, images, videos, and campaign information.
- Contribute creative ideas that strengthen SolidCAM's digital presence and audience engagement.
- Manage multiple content projects and deliver assets within agreed timelines.

What We're Looking For

- 2–3 years of experience in Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content formats, and current digital trends.
- Excellent written and spoken English with strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
- Strong visual sense and the ability to create professional, engaging digital content.
- Creative, proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with an international marketing team.
- Interest in technology, engineering,



manufacturing, or education is an advantage.

Essential Technical Skills

- Canva — strong working knowledge.
- At least one video-editing tool such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
- Basic-to-working knowledge of at least one professional graphic design tool such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
- Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

Preferred Skills

- Advanced Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills.
- Adobe After Effects, motion graphics, or animation.
- Photography and videography.
- AI tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, Gemini, or equivalent.
- LinkedIn Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and social media scheduling platforms.

Team & Collaboration

You will be part of the Global Marketing team and work closely with marketing, education, product, and regional teams. The role will report to the Global Marketing Manager and Global Education Manager and collaborate with relevant stakeholders across SolidCAM's international markets.
