Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Shopify Developer with 3–4 years of experience in end-to-end Shopify development and e-commerce technology. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Shopify store development, customization, Shopify APIs, integrations, and performance optimization, along with hands-on exposure to Java and related backend technologies.

The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, integrating, and optimizing Shopify-based e-commerce solutions while working closely with product, marketing, design, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle end-to-end Shopify development, customization, maintenance, and optimization.
- Develop and customize Shopify stores, themes, templates, sections, and reusable components.
- Work with Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend technologies.
- Develop and maintain custom Shopify functionalities and applications.
- Work with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, REST APIs, and Webhooks.
- Integrate Shopify with ERP, CRM, payment gateways, logistics, inventory, marketing, and other third-party platforms.
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and related technologies.
- Work with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot / Spring MVC or similar technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve frontend, backend, API, integration, and performance-related issues.
- Optimize Shopify stores for website speed, scalability, performance, SEO, and user experience.
- Implement recent features and enhancements based on business and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with design, marketing, product,



operations, and other teams to deliver effective e-commerce solutions.
- Perform testing, debugging, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of Shopify applications.
- Follow coding standards, version control, security practices, and development best practices.
- Stay updated with Shopify features, e-commerce technologies, development frameworks, and industry trends.

Profile Requirements:

- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development.
- Strong exposure to end-to-end Shopify development from requirement understanding through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of Shopify architecture, themes, apps, APIs, integrations, and e-commerce workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Java and related backend technologies.
- Experience working with third-party APIs and system integrations.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Good understanding of e-commerce business requirements and customer experience.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience working with Shopify Plus and high-volume e-commerce platforms.
- Experience in D2C, retail, e-commerce, or consumer technology businesses.
- Experience handling high-traffic Shopify stores and performance optimization.
- Exposure to Headless Commerce, Hydrogen, React, or Next.js is an added advantage.
- Experience with checkout customization, Shopify Functions, and advanced Shopify integrations is preferred.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
