Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior System Administrator to manage and lead day-to-day IT systems and end-user support operations. The role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of IT systems, desktops, laptops, applications, user access, IT assets, and workplace technology.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in IT support, desktop/laptop administration, user management, hardware/software troubleshooting, networking, IT asset management, system security, and IT operations, along with the ability to lead a support team.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day IT systems and end-user support operations.
- Manage and support desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Provide L1/L2 technical support and act as the escalation point for complex issues.
- Troubleshoot Windows OS, application, hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, password resets, and onboarding/offboarding activities.
- Support Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID user and access management.
- Manage installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting of end-user applications.
- Maintain and manage IT assets, including laptops, desktops, peripherals, software licenses, and accessories.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure proper allocation and tracking of equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware, software, networking, and other IT-related issues.
- Monitor and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, internet, and basic network connectivity issues.
- Ensure endpoint security, antivirus/EDR, system updates, and security compliance.
- Implement and maintain IT policies,



SOPs, and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor IT support tickets and ensure issues are resolved within defined SLA/TAT.
- Prepare regular MIS reports and IT support dashboards.
- Identify recurring issues and implement preventive/corrective actions.
- Lead and mentor the IT support/system administration team.
- Support IT audits and ensure compliance with organizational IT policies.
- Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, office/site expansions, and technology deployments.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have 6–10 years of experience in IT support/system administration, with strong exposure to end-user computing, desktop/laptop support, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, IT asset management, endpoint security, and IT operations.

Candidates who have primarily worked as Server Administrators, Cloud Administrators, DevOps Engineers, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineers are not the target profile for this position.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft, CompTIA, or other relevant IT support certifications will be an advantage.
