Role Description The Senior Software Tester role is a full time position. This role is responsible for planning, designing, and executing test cases for complex network and software solutions, ensuring high-quality releases. Day-to-day activities include reviewing requirements and technical specifications, creating detailed test plans, performing manual and automated tests, and documenting defects clearly for development teams.

Tester collaborates closely with engineers and product managers to refine test coverage, perform root-cause analysis, and validate fixes.



The role also involves mentoring junior testers, contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes, and supporting quality assurance best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Software Testing and Quality Assurance skills, with experience validating complex, distributed systems.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Test Execution and Test Cases, including designing, maintaining, and optimizing test suites.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret test results, troubleshoot issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with networking concepts (e.g., SDWAN, SASE, routing, wireless networks) as a strong advantage.
- Candidates should possess experience with test management tools, defect tracking systems, and, ideally, automation frameworks.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and several years of hands-on experience in software testing or QA, preferably in networking or telecom domains.
