As we expand our global presence, we are seeking a skilled Senior Site Civil Engineer to support our U.S. projects from India.

Job Summary:

GM2 Associates, Inc, is seeking a senior Civil Engineer with a strong passion for site civil land development to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment where you will lead project teams and play a key role in the continued expansion of our India team. You will serve as the liaison for site civil land development projects, interacting directly with a GM2 US-based project manager and working with the civil team in India, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and review site-civil engineering plans, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility layouts.
- Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and reports in compliance with U.S. engineering standards (e.g., AASHTO, ASTM, local municipality requirements).
- Utilize industry-standard software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, and similar tools.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including structural engineers, surveyors, and project managers in the U.S.
- Perform site feasibility studies, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, and erosion control design for land development projects.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. local, state,



and federal regulations related to stormwater, grading, and land development.
- Assist in permitting processes by preparing submittals for municipal and state agencies in the U.S.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers in India.
- Communicate effectively via email, virtual meetings, and project management platforms to ensure seamless collaboration.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 5-12 years of experience in site-civil engineering (preferably on U.S. projects).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater modeling software.
- Solid knowledge of U.S. civil engineering codes and standards (such as AASHTO, US EPA, FHWA, local state DOT requirements).
- Experience with stormwater management, grading design, and utility coordination.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with U.S.-based teams.
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Experience working with U.S. permitting agencies is a plus.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or EIT certification (U.S.) is a plus but not required.
