About the Role

Navnit Insurance Broking Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to join our Technology team. The role involves ensuring the quality of our digital insurance platform through functional testing, documentation, coordination with internal stakeholders, insurers, and external development partners, along with supporting production activities to ensure smooth business operations.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience in the Insurance domain, possess strong analytical and communication skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

Quality Assurance

 Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on business requirements.

 Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Integration, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and basic

UI/Front-end Testing.

 Identify, log, track, and validate defects until closure.

 Validate bug fixes and ensure application quality before production deployment.

Coordination

 Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external development partners for requirement clarification and issue resolution.

 Follow up on pending development activities and implementation timelines.

 Support insurer integration testing, UAT, and Go-Live activities.

 Assist in tracking project activities and implementation status.

Documentation

 Prepare and maintain test cases, test reports, release notes, user documentation, and project trackers.

 Assist in preparing meeting minutes (MoMs),



implementation trackers, and other project-related documentation.

 Maintain defect logs, change request trackers, and implementation status reports.

Production Support

 Coordinate with business users to understand and resolve application-related queries and issues,

enabling smooth day-to-day business operations.

 Coordinate between business users and the development team to ensure timely resolution of reported issues.

 Perform post-deployment validation and sanity testing after production releases.

 Track production issues and follow up until successful closure.

Process Improvement

 Support continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation standards.

 Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

 Contribute to maintaining quality standards across technology initiatives.

Experience & Qualification

 3–5 years of experience in Software Testing.

 Prior experience in the Insurance domain is mandatory.

 Experience in testing web-based applications and customer-facing portals.

 Experience coordinating with development teams, business users, and implementation partners.

-  Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, or equivalent.
