–- Senior Process Manager - Asset Servicing / Corporate Actions

As part of our Asset Servicing leadership team, you will be directly working with clients to understand long term strategic and mid-term business goals. This role will be part of the Corporate Actions where you will be responsible for handling, reconciling and processing the incomes, payments, claims and events. The candidate must possess knowledge relevant to the functional area, and act as a subject matter expert in providing advice in the area of expertise, and also focus on continuous improvement for maximum efficiency.

It is vital to focus on high standard of delivery excellence, provide top-notch service quality and develop successful long-term business partnerships with internal/external customers by identifying and fulfilling customer needs. He/she should be able to break down complex problems into logical and manageable parts in a systematic way, and generate and compare multiple options and set priorities to resolve problems. The ideal candidate must be proactive, and go beyond expectations to achieve job results and create new opportunities. He/she must positively influence the team, motivate high performance, promote a friendly climate, give constructive feedback, provide opportunities for development, and manage career aspirations of direct reports.

Communication skills are key here, to explain organizational objectives, assignments, and the big picture to the team, and to articulate team vision and clear objectives.

The ideal candidate should possess strong business understanding of finance industry with special focus on Asset Servicing lifecycle, income processing, equity, bond and understanding of Claims validation, payment initiation and swift messages. Candidate should be valuable with numbers and ability to derive information from data with excellent multi-tasking and creative problem solving.



Candidate should have strong capabilities in PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Excel and should be able to build domain expertise and lead from the front with the ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and work as part of the team.

Responsibilities

- Client Management – establish self as a valued partner and work closely to achieve goals defined
- Independently handle all client escalations and lead mitigation steps to prevent future escalations
- Lead various quality initiatives across processes managed
- Responsible for Business continuity, transformation and various audits
- Good understanding of Asset Servicing Life Cycle.
- Experience in announcement scrubbing, dividend processing, Claims processing, managing meeting events, reconciliation of breaks related to Corporate Actions.
- Should be well versed with all event types. Mandatory, Mandatory with Choice and Voluntary events.
- Should be aware of all critical dates in an event such as Ex-date, record date, pay date, deadline date.
- Should be aware of risk in corporate action process i.e. regulatory, financial and reputational risks – impact of delayed/incorrect processing.
- Knowledge of SWIFT messages used in Asset Services
- Should be aware of regulatory requirements such as Client Money disclosure, Shareholders Rights directive (SRD)
- Strong capabilities in MS Office Tools.
- Preferred experience with data visualization and data analytics tools
